The Boeing Company has selected GMN Aerospace as the Mandatory Markings Supplier for the KC -46 Tanker. The selection was celebrated at GM Nameplate’s Corporate Headquarters on March 28 with a contract signing. Jason Bush, Procurement Agent from the Boeing Company, and Carlo Mears, Vice President of GMN Aerospace, signed the contract. GMN Aerospace continues to supply Boeing BCA along with Boeing BDS for various programs.

The Boeing KC-46 is a military aerial refueling and strategic transport aircraft developed by Boeing from its 767 jet airliner. In February 2011, the tanker was selected by the United States Air Force (USAF) as the winner in the KC-X tanker competition to replace older KC-135 Stratotankers.

The program is particularly exciting for GMN Aerospace since the first phase of the contract is for 17 aircrafts, scheduled to be completed by 2017.
