Boeing Supplier of the Year 2014 event

On April 14th and 15th The Boeing Company held their annual Boeing Supplier of the Year (SOY) business meeting and award ceremony. This year’s business meeting was held in Chantilly, VA at the Westfields Marriott. The award banquet was held at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

I attended the annual business meeting on April 14th to represent GMN Aerospace. At the event GMN Aerospace received its seventh consecutive Boeing Performance Excellence Award in 2014. There were several companies that won the award and were represented at the annual business meeting – 119 received gold rating and 429 received silver rating. The goals for this year’s meeting was “Celebrate successes, Set expectations, Map our future course, Communicate strategy, and Share best practices” with the focus on “One Boeing.”
