Elite Plastics gets branded as GMN Plastics

SEATTLE, Washington - GM Nameplate (GMN) announced that effective today, it has rebranded its plastics brand, Elite Plastics, as GMN Plastics. Soon after acquiring a molding company in 1995 and branding it as Elite Plastics in 2004, GMN expanded and fostered its presence in the plastics industry. After cherishing much success under the brand name Elite Plastics, GMN decided to rebrand its plastic brand as GMN Plastics.

Unifying the overall GMN brand, the new identity was created to maintain consistency with GMN’s other brands, namely GMN Aerospace and GMN Automotive. The name GMN Plastics clearly depicts the association with the parent company and reinforces the backing and resources of a global organization. The new brand name and logo was chosen to distinguish GMN’s plastics capabilities, whilst conveying the full extent of diverse solutions and vertically-integrated capabilities of GMN.

Although the brand name has changed, the product offerings of Elite Plastics will remain the same. The company will continue to offer a broad range of plastic capabilities and services including plastic injection molding, plastic machining, plastic decoration, and value-added assemblies. There will be no change in the corporate structure, daily operations, quality management systems, or the employees at Elite Plastics.

“We feel that now is the correct time to align our brands to provide clarity to the marketplace.” said Bruce Cleckley, Chief Executive Officer of GMN. “We want to eliminate any possible confusion and emphasize on the overall organization behind our brands by linking them together under one corporate umbrella.”

Elite Plastics is committed to serving its global customers with the highest quality of products and services under the new brand name GMN Plastics.
