Array of coating and ink solutions for functional and visual purposes

GM Nameplate’s (GMN) coating and ink capabilities can protect parts against the environmental conditions they face. GMN offers performance driven solutions that are custom-engineered by our in-house chemists and lab technicians to fit an application’s specific functional and visual requirements.

The environment that a part must endure over its lifetime varies greatly across products and industries. Depending on that environment, coatings and inks may become a vital addition to prevent the part from yellowing, blistering, or cracking under extreme temperatures or caustic conditions. Since a coating used for high temperature conditions would not be appropriate for low temperature conditions as well, GMN constructs each coating to be performance driven for specific applications.

When developing coatings, there are two applications that need to be addressed: visual and functional. Transparent or opaque, matte or gloss, GMN formulates custom textures and finishes to match the exact aesthetic our customer’s desire. However, coatings serve functional purposes as well, including UV, superior scuff, mar, scratch, and chemical resistance. In addition, GMN can create coatings that are durable yet flexible, which simplifies fabrication efforts such as raising graphics or forming.

At GMN, coatings and inks can be entirely or selectively deposited onto several different metal, plastic sheet, and glass materials through a variety of methods including spray, screen printing, off-set printing, digital printing, and pad printing.

With decades of experience crafting coatings and inks for a diverse range of industries, GMN can create premium coatings or inks for any strenuous environment.
