GMN Aerospace would like to announce that our San Jose, CA Division recently received its AS9100C certification.
BEAVERTON, Oregon (December 15, 2015) – GM Nameplate’s Beaverton, Oregon Division has achieved renewal of the AS9100C quality system certification. The AS9100C certification is the quality standard for aerospace applications and is essential for supplying to the industry. As a part of GMN, this certification means that GMN Aerospace applies a quality management system for manufacturing plastic parts and value added assemblies for aerospace applications that meets industry approval.
At the 2014 Boeing Supplier of the Year Event, Aero Plastics was named the Supplier of the Year for interiors by the Boeing Company. GMN Aerospace congratulates Aero Plastics on their win and success within the Boeing supply chain.

BEAVERTON, Oregon (April 4, 2014) – GMN Aerospace is pleased to announced that its plastics division’s quality management system and manufacturing facility has been approved by the Gulfstream Aerospace Company. The GMN Plastics division of GMN Aerospace will supply injection molded parts and assemblies for the Gulfstream Aerospace Company.
As an AS9100C certified manufacturer, GMN Aerospace offers many products to the aerospace industry. Recently, GMN Plastics was added to the Boeing Qualified Processor List (QPL) for injection molding.
Earlier this year GM Nameplate’s GMN Plastics division received AS9100C certification. The approval certifies that GMN Plastics quality system meets the standards of AS9100C. For our aerospace customer this means we that our plastic molded and decorated components for the aerospace industry are now produced with a certified quality system.

GMN Plastics was audited by TUV Reinland of North America, whom approved the certification on December 11, 2012. It states that GMN Plastics has established and applies a quality management system for the manufacture of complex plastics and value added assemblies.
On June 27, GM Nameplate Seattle’s quality management system achieved AS9100C certification. GM Nameplate supports the aerospace industry under the brand name GMN Aerospace and the new certification provides quality system updates and improvements, specifically focused on the aerospace industry.
