In honor of the Seattle Seahawks appearance in Super Bowl XLIX, GMN Aerospace put on a raffle to raise money for the Seattle Animal Shelter. Raffle tickets were sold for a chance to win one of three brand new Boeing 747-8F Seattle Seahawks “Spirit of 12s” model airplanes.

After just one day of ticket sales, the GMN Aerospace team was surprised by how many tickets were sold. Since we got so much interest in the raffle, Carlo Mears, vice president of GMN Aerospace, and Paul Michaels, director of GMN Aerospace, decided to add two additional planes to the raffle, and extend the fundraiser through the end of the week. We also added a bonus plane and Seahawks gear for a few lucky employees.

We are pleased to announce that we raised more than $1,500 to support the Seattle Animal Shelter! Thanks to our employees’ donations, the money will help cover funds for veterinary care, shelter and more, through the “Help the Animals Fund”. The fund also supports the shelter’s foster and volunteer programs ensuring that each animal is provided with good care at the shelter.
