Earlier this week, we celebrated the delivery of our 15 millionth BAC part to the Boeing Supply chain. We commemorated the milestone with members of The Boeing Company and GMN Aerospace. At the celebration, the 15 millionth part was delivered to Kent Fisher, vice president and general manager supplier management for The Boeing Company; Beth Anderson, vice president rate readiness supplier management for The Boeing Company; and Alan Wittman, director seat integration/IFE for The Boeing Company, by members of the GMN Aerospace manufacturing team.
GMN Aerospace has been very focused on strong customer collaborations and partnerships with all of our customers and The Boeing Company. We currently have a 99.9% quality and 99.7% delivery rating with The Boeing Company. This milestone delivery is very exciting for our team – it shows how far we have come in the last 50 years.
“While it’s important for GMN to pause to celebrate milestones such as our 15 millionth BAC part, it is even more important that we continue to look to the future as we go to market with new innovations and qualifications, and expand our value proposition within the supply chain,” said Paul Michaels, director of GMN Aerospace.
Over 50 years ago we took our first order from The Boeing Company. Since, our capabilities and expertise in Aerospace manufacturing has grown significantly from interior and exterior markings to include, plastics, front panel integration, value-added assemblies, and large format exterior graphics.
Congratulations to the entire GMN Aerospace team on this milestone delivery!
