GM Nameplate receives fifth consecutive Boeing Performance Excellence Award

SEATTLE, WA – June 27, 2013 – GMN Aerospace by GM Nameplate has received a 2012 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issued the award annually to recognized suppliers who have achieved superior performance.

GMN Aerospace maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012. For GMN Aerospace this is the fifth consecutive Performance Excellence Award from the Boeing Company. This year, Boeing recognized 594 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. GMN Aerospace is one of 441 suppliers to receive the Silver Level of recognition.

Over the past year, GMN Aerospace has delivered over 1.4 million pieces to the Boeing Company, supporting all commercial programs, as well as defense programs, with a quality and delivery rating over 99 percent. GMN Aerospace will continue to work closely with the Boeing Company to streamline its manufacturing processes to better meet the industry needs.
