SEATTLE, Washington (January 8, 2014) – GM Nameplate today announced that it has received a 2013 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance.
GM Nameplate maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from October 1, 2012, to September 30, 2013. This year, Boeing recognized 582 suppliers who achieved either a gold or silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. GMN is one of only 459 silver suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.
“To receive the Boeing Performance Excellence Award for six consecutive years is an honor we are very proud of, and is a reflection of every team member’s commitment to success,” said Paul Michaels, director of GMN Aerospace. “GM Nameplate truly values our collaboration with The Boeing Company as we continue to look to the future and go to market with new innovations and qualifications, and expand our value proposition within the supply chain.”
The 2013 Boeing Performance Excellence Award is the ninth award that GMN has received from The Boeing Company. GMN’s other accolades include awards from John Deere, Physio Control, and the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Association.
