Boeing Performance Excellence Award 2014

At the May 22 GM Nameplate Seattle company meeting, we were honored to have Michael Epplin, Senior Manager from The Boeing Company, present GMN with our 6th Consecutive Boeing Performance Excellence Award.  He was introduced by GMN Aerospace Vice President & General Manager, Carlo Mears, who thanked the entire team for continuous excellence and performance.

Mr. Epplin shared remarks with the organization on the importance of quality and delivery and The Boeing Company looks to its Supply Chain to support increasing rate.  GMN Aerospace has maintained over 99% quality and delivery on over 1.5 million pieces delivered over the last 12 months.  One of the constant challenges is the successful support of the high percentage of short flow and AOG requirements.  Accepting on behalf of GMN Aerospace was Electroplating Lead Joaquin Ivarra, one of the many team members who is instrumental in supporting these requirements time after time.

The 2013 Boeing Performance Excellence Award is the ninth award that GMN has received from The Boeing Company. GMN’s other accolades include awards from John Deere, Physio Control, and the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Association.
