The labels on Bath and Body Works’ 12 deliciously scented home fragrance oils are a perfect example of GM Nameplate’s printing and fabrication expertise at work. Precise color matching for each variation and top quality printing are vital to the aesthetic and functional value of each label, ensuring that the labels are properly branded and durable enough to withstand the repeated peeling and resealing inherent in the two-layer design.

Fabrication automation also played a critical role. GM Nameplate used a re-registration system to print and assemble the different layers in order to provide precise tolerance and registration. The base layer, common to all 12 home fragrance oils, is printed first before the top layer is laminated to the base layer. A third run prints the colors for each version. A quality deliverable is guaranteed through automatic inspection of each roll as it’s rewound.
