SonoSite Turns to GM Nameplate for the New
iLook
Ultrasound Device Design & Manufacturing
When SonoSite required a high quality company to help
them achieve a unique and progressive look for their new
ultra-sound devices, they turned to GM Nameplate
knowing that is exactly what they would find.
"We chose GM Nameplate because of their expertise in the design process. That expertise allowed SonoSite to
create the right look and components in a timely and cost effective manner," said SonoSite Buyer, Brian Cross. "Our orders are always produced on-time to our very high quality standards."
SonoSite needed a manufacturer that could print, form and fabricate three-
dimensional parts with very fine graphics, tight registers and perfectly matched
color. GM Nameplate was able to meet SonoSite's needs. GM Nameplate
produced all the labels and the formed overlay on the SonoSite iLook devices.
The SonoSite portable hand held pre-natal ultra-sound machine is a new
technology in the medical industry.
GM Nameplate also manufactured all the graphics for the docking port. The
graphics were produced and fabricated in a set to control the color on all three
pieces, which are first printed before zoned adhesive is applied. The small
overlays have filtered windows.
Because of the versatility GM Nameplate has to offer as a custom manufacturer,
they were able to cater to SonoSite's needs for their iLook hand-held ultrasound
devices to create a truly winning partnership.
