GM Nameplate announced today the introduction of their Instant Intaq rapid prototype service. This quick-turn prototyping service, for membrane switches, is a stand-alone operation designed to quickly produce working product mock-ups.
Parts produced are conceptual in nature but appear and function as the envisioned production parts.
GM Nameplate’s rapid membrane switch prototypes enable customers to verify their design with functional prototypes in 3 days or less (for overlays & laser-cut blanks) or within 10 days for most membranes.
“Receiving prototypes in your hands, quickly, makes all the difference in enhancing design evaluations, internal presentations, trade shows or test marketing campaigns,” stated Gerry Gallagher, GM Nameplate Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Our rapid membrane switch prototypes accelerate design lead times, reduce R&D costs and seamlessly transition your idea from concept to conclusion while our manufacturing capabilities enable you to go from prototype to production.”
Instant Intaq capitalizes on many of GM Nameplate’s core services including digital overlay printing, polycarbonate embossing, silver ink printing, thin plastics fabrication, adhesive fabrication and assembly (including domes and surface-mount technology components, LEDs and resistors, epoxies, encapsulants and connectors).
