 
GM Nameplate Announces Invitation to be Featured Speaker at SGIA Symposium
GM Nameplate announced today that Steve Baker, National Sales Manager for Intaq Products, will be a featured speaker at the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Membrane Switch Symposium this June.
Baker’s educational speech, titled “Future Trends of Membrane Technology,” will cover membrane switch technology developments on a global level. He will discuss significant trends including: Past and future evolution of membrane switch design including methods to provide designers with cutting edge applications, such as medical devices and printing conductive biosensor electrodes.
Baker joined GM Nameplate in 2004 as the Medical Business Development Manager, where he substantially increased the medical device component business before being tasked with the management responsibility for the company’s Intaq line of electronic user-interface component and membrane switch products. He has over 25 years experience in various segments of the membrane switch industry.
The Membrane Switch Symposium will take place June 3-5th at the Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront, in St. Paul, Minnesota. This annual event provides access to the leading suppliers and producers in the membrane switch industry through the symposium’s specialized trade show, educational sessions, and networking opportunities. The symposium provides the latest information on current technologies, market trends and best operating practices.
