Application: Diabetic insulin monitoring

Challenge: The colored dots are compared to the color of the blood after it reacts with the strip reagent to determine the amount of insulin required if the meter fails. As a result, the product is considered a "medical device" and the colored dots must be held to color matching tolerances 10 times tighter than the standard.

Solution: GM Nameplate worked closely with the customer and ink supplier to perfectly formulate the inks to match the color of reacted reagent exactly and provide exceptional consistency and quality.
