Challenge: Finding the inks and printing method to maintain the integrity of the graphics (without ink-blowout) and to withstand the harsh conditions of the molding process.Creating a perfect bond between the film and the resinm, as well as maintaining very tight print tolerances, also added to the challenge.

Solution: GM Nameplate performed several rounds of testing on different materials and inks to find the right combination. Our research and development, combined with our molding expertise, defined our commitment to innovative solutions. GM Nameplate is the very first company to create an inmold decorated instruction panel with indestructible graphics and no need for an adhesive layer.
